Day 5 - A wonderful surprise breakfast for all of our guests this morning. The amazing staff at the Kangaroo Island Seaside Inn set up a fabulous breakfast (including pancakes) at Reeves Point, right on the Nepean Bay.

A perfect morning, our passengers just loved having breakfast overlooking the water and having time to wander around the park where the first settlers arrived on Kangaroo Island.

The colony was established at Reeves Point, Kingscote on 27 July 1836, as South Australia’s first official European settlement.

Pictured is the wonderful staff from the Seaside Inn who really looked after us all and ensured we all had enough of the yummy breakfast.

Also featuring in the photos is Alex Schumann who is the Manager of the Seaside Inn and known as ‘eye candy’ to the girls in the photo!

The other popular man on our tour was Glen Willson, our Sealink driver extraordinaire, whose family has a long history on the island and is pictured here with ‘the cheeky girls’.

Day 4 - What a wonderful way to complete a fabulous day, Kangaroo Island Seaside Inn arranged our dining tonight outside, on the lawns out the front of the hotel, overlooking the calm waters of the bay.

It was a perfect night, a banquet BBQ, enjoying a fantastic array of seafood, various meats and a delicious selection of salads. This was followed by a decadent  chocolate dessert - our passengers thoroughly enjoyed being very spoilt by all of the absolutely amazing staff at the the Seaside Inn.

A beautiful sunset that night, the photo taken from my room (and the same view from all rooms) overlooking the Nepean bay.

Day 2 - All passengers another fantastic 2 course dinner at the Kangaroo Island Seaside Inn and were treated by surprise entertainment by The Ukes who are a local ukulele playing/singing group. Everyone sang along and thoroughly enjoyed the great talents of The Ukes - a great night put on by the Seaside Inn.

Day 1 - Some of the wonderful scenery along the way to our accommodation for the next 5 nights at the fantastic Kangaroo Island Seaside Inn in Kingscote.

Our group enjoyed a delicious 2 course dinner and great hospitality from the staff at the Seaside Inn.

Everyone loved their large rooms, all with great ocean views overlooking the Nepean Bay - everyone slept well after a very enjoyable eventful day.

Day 1 - Our last stop for the day was at Clifford’s Honey Farm to sample their varieties of wonderful Ligurian honey and Jenny’s famous honey ice cream.

Our stay for the next 3 nights is at the very comfortable and always welcoming, Kangaroo Island Seaside Inn - I love staying there and so do our passengers, knowing that we are always looked after well.

That night was a rare ‘super moon’ which was hard to capture because of the cloud cover - a few pics showing this huge moon.

Our last stop for the day (Day 2) was at the Bay of Shoals Winery, overlooking the picture postcards views of the Bay of Shoals.

Greg, Manager of the Bay of Shoals Winery, is always enthusiastic about our passengers learning more and tasting their award winning wines. All passengers love to try the many varieties Greg has on offer and many passengers stocked up on gifts of wine and their ‘pelican brand’ glasses at the Bay of Shoals Winery.

As today was Melbourne Cup day, I organised a sweep for all of our passengers which was so popular, I had 4 sweeps that all sold out!

Alex, Manager of the Kangaroo Island Seaside Inn where we stay for the 3 nights, kindly taped the race for us to watch that evening after dinner. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed seeing the race with lots of encouraging shouting and laughter, to get their horse over the line first. The winners of the various sweeps received their winning stakes as well as their very own miniature ‘Melbourne Cup.’

Another great, action-ed packed day on Kangaroo Island.
