Our last stop on Day 3 was at Andermel Marron Farm & Two Wheeler Creek Winery where we all enjoyed a sumptuous lunch at the Marron Cafe.
After lunch we walked to the large shed next door to the Cafe to see the tanks ‘growing’ the marron and enjoyed an informative talk about the life of a marron.
Day 4 takes up off the island to the ferry back to Cape Jervis and a scenic drive to Victor Harbor for a wander and lunch.
We then took a short drive to Pt Elliott to see the beautiful views of Horseshoe Bay and spectacular views down the coast.
Our last stop for the day was at McLaren Vale to stock up on chocolates at Medlows, taste wines at Hardys Winery, buy a wide range of almonds at the Almond Train or just sit and watch the passing parade.
Another great Kangaroo Island tour was enjoyed by all of my passengers that loved all of the wonders that Kangaroo Island has on offer. They said they are going home to ‘spread the word’ that Kangaroo Island has so much to see and do and you really need at least a week to take in the beauty and splendor of this wonderful unspoiled paradise.
