Day 2 - All passengers another fantastic 2 course dinner at the Kangaroo Island Seaside Inn and were treated by surprise entertainment by The Ukes who are a local ukulele playing/singing group. Everyone sang along and thoroughly enjoyed the great talents of The Ukes - a great night put on by the Seaside Inn.
Day 2 - Our last visit for the day, was a the picturesque Bay of Shoals Winery - a welcome wine tasting to complete the day.
Day 2 - The girls were fascinated with the ‘boys and their bikes’ parked outside the Parndana Hotel where we stopped for lunch.
Day 2 - Still having fun at the Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park and a great way to interact with the animals especially to be able to get up close to the unusually active, beautiful koalas.
Great little shop to get coffee, ice-creams etc and with a good range of souvenirs, just as you are leaving the park.
Day 2 - Lots of amazing animals to see on display at the Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park
Day 2 - Wandering around the Kangaroo island Wildlife Park, our passengers loved feeding the tame kangaroos and they loved being fed!
Day 2 - We have a short tour of the town of Kingscote on our second day, before visiting the exciting Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park, home to over 150 species of native Australian wildlife and over 600 animals.
Our passengers all loved walking amongst the wildlife especially the kangaroos - first time most of us to see an albino kangaroo.
Day 1 - Some of the wonderful scenery along the way to our accommodation for the next 5 nights at the fantastic Kangaroo Island Seaside Inn in Kingscote.
Our group enjoyed a delicious 2 course dinner and great hospitality from the staff at the Seaside Inn.
Everyone loved their large rooms, all with great ocean views overlooking the Nepean Bay - everyone slept well after a very enjoyable eventful day.
Day 1 - Our last visit for the day was to Dudley’s Clifftop Cellar Door for tastings of their award winning wines.
A great way to top the day off with wonderful wine tastings and a spectacular view to the ocean. Everyone enjoyed the interesting wine presentation, loved the wines, dukka & yummy bread and gazing out into the vast vistas - ahhhhh just heaven!
Day 1 - We also had time to visit the very interesting Weather Station and view one the old, very large light reflectors for a lighthouse.
