Our 4 day Escorted Kangaroo Island Tours are going extremely well – I have already escorted 4 tours to the Island, just this year. I’m still ‘on a high’ from our cruise on the Queen Mary 2 and tour of South Africa, in April. Our cruise from Fremantle visited the unique ports of Mauritius, Pt Elizabeth and Durban before arriving into the picturesque city of Cape Town. We had lovely weather in Cape Town that enabled us to take in the spectacular views on the cable car up and, on top of Table Mountain and we loved our tour of the wine lands region of Stellenbosch. One of the highlights of our time in South Africa was our 3 night stay in Kruger National Park which included daily safari drives. What a truly wonderful experience, travelling in an open jeep witnessing a glorious diversity of wildlife, birdlife and taking in the every changing African landscape – and YES, we were very fortunate and absolutely thrilled to see the Big 5!  The scenic drive to Johannesburg was really interesting and the visit to Soweto was both fascinating, sobering and thought provoking. We felt quite safe and found the people were so very friendly. I would really love to go back to South Africa and explore more of that wonderful country – watch this space!

6th September, 2015 brings us to our long awaited and most requested Canada Tour and Alaska Cruise for 20 days. We will marvel at the beautiful autumn colours and ‘picture postcard’ scenery we will see throughout our tour and be amazed at the many different varieties of wildlife and birdlife that Canada has to offer. We will experience luxury travel on the world famous Rocky Mountaineer and see the phenomenal array of spectacular floral display gardens, at the Butchart Gardens on Victoria Island. We cruise the Inside Passage to Alaska where we glide past a maze of bays, glacier-carved fjords and waterways, gaze in awe at the immense glaciers, towering peaks and icy rivers and visit the quaint towns that have been transformed by the gold rush days of yesteryear.
