I am very excited to be escorting this wonderful cruise and tour departing on 1st April 2015, which is part of the Queen Mary 2’s world cruise; you will experience a holiday like no other. She offers so much space on board and such an array of state of the art facilities including a 3D Cinema, a superb spa including fifteen restaurants and bars, five swimming pools and a casino. The QM2 is the only ship to host a planetarium at sea, boasts a magnificent library of over 8000 volumes, with lavish productions and musicals performed in The Royal Court Theatre and, your opportunity to foxtrot in the largest ballroom at sea, in the breathtakingly beautiful Queens Room.

From Fremantle, our exotic ports of call will be Mauritius, Durban and Pt Elizabeth before disembarking in Cape Town for 3 nights. Our tour takes in a city alive with creativity, colour, sounds and tastes and also includes a full day tour to the picturesque wine region. 

We fly to world-renowned Kruger National Park for 3 nights with exciting morning and sunset game drives to view some of many varieties of animals that live in this amazing Park.

Overnight in Johannesburg with a city tour and a tour of Soweto before flying to your home port via Singapore.

Just in time to relax before the Christmas rush and stock up on all of your Christmas presents. Fly or rail to Sydney from your home city to enjoy a group dinner & overnight on the 8th December, 2014. We depart the next day on the magnificent Sun Princess sailing overnight to Hobart. Next day we sail onto Port Arthur and then overnight to Burnie.

All shore excursions are included in each port. We then sail onto Melbourne where we include a fabulous lunch on the Tramcar Restaurant. Arrive back into Sydney on the 16th December.

I’m back in ‘beautiful Adelaide’ now for the next 8 weeks which is the longest time I’ve spent here in the past 6 months! Then I’m off on my own holiday, by myself, on a 14 day Mediterranean cruise – it will be strange not to have my group with me.

I have just returned from our Spectacular Australia Tour with our happy group of 22 passengers. We had lots of laughs with a few ‘characters’ in the group and a some good stories to add to my travel book that I am going to write –maybe one of these days! We have just received the rail schedules for next year & as there are many changes in these schedules our Spectacular Australia Tour will now be departing Sydney on the 6th June, 2015. 

We travel on the express passenger train (XPT) to Melbourne for 3 nights, the Overland to ‘beautiful Adelaide’- now for 5 nights with the added bonus of 2 days, 1 night on Kangaroo Island. The Ghan to Alice for 2 nights with an overnight in Uluru. The Ghan to Darwin for 3 nights, fly to Broome for 3 nights, fly to Perth for 3 nights then the mighty Indian Pacific back to Sydney (Adelaide passengers disembark in Adelaide).
