Hasn’t 2014 gone so quickly! It has been a very busy but an exciting year so far – especially with our new Tours on offer this year and preparing for our 2015 departures.
We do take your feedback and suggestions after travelling with us, very seriously, as this is how we look at forward planning for our tours for the next few years. As cruising is becoming extremely popular as a choice of holidays and has been requested by our past passengers, we are very excited to extend our range of holidays to include more cruises.
On the 17th February I escorted our inaugural 4 day Kangaroo Island Experience Tour which showcased some of the many, many fantastic highlights on the island - all of our passengers had a wonderful time. Our departure on the 28th April is now full and now our 3rd departure on the 5th May is also full. We have a 4th departure booked for the 20th October – so if you have always wanted to visit Kangaroo Island and would like to join our group, please let me know as I would love to see you.
I have just returned from our fabulous Queen Mary 2 Cruise & Tour of China. Our lovely Group of 38 passengers (half of whom were my wonderful repeat passengers) departed from Sydney on the 14th March. Some passengers boarded this fantastic Ship in Adelaide and some in Melbourne, before I joined the rest of our Group in Sydney. We all had such a great time on this beautiful Ship, thankfully smooth sailing all of the way and great weather - we all thoroughly enjoyed all of the ancient wonders and sights - and of course the shopping, that China had to offer. Congratulations to Marie Moran who climbed the steep steps (with her walking stick) on the Great Wall, up to the first turret (shown on the photo above) along with Noel & Susan West. Also well done to many of our other passengers that also climbed the wall and some even to the second turret – a great achievement by everyone!
In between all of my tours I will also be doing some morning presentations and an afternoon tea harbour cruise (in Sydney) presenting all of our Tours & Cruises for 2014 and 2015 – I have listed the dates that have been booked at the various locations, so I do hope I will see you at one of these.
On a personal note, most of my past passengers know that I have a son Nicholas – I’m thrilled to announce that he recently got married in Melbourne (on the Mornington Peninsula) to a beautiful lady (of Greek heritage) called Kristina. Just another exciting happening for me in this first 6 months of this year!
Please recommend us to your travelling friends and relatives - as we all know, the best form of advertising is ‘word of mouth’, so I thank you in anticipation of spreading the word!
Warm Regards, Shirley
